Carbon spring steel wire current national and industry recommended standards are divided into two types
1, cold drawn spring steel wire

Carbon steel wire quenched and tempered through the treatment, you can get good overall mechanical properties, when the wire specifications are small (φ ≤ 2.0mm), oil quenched and tempered steel wire strength indicators than the austenitization treatment of cold-drawn steel wire to be low. When the steel wire specifications are large (φ ≥ 6.0mm) Soxhletized steel wire is not possible to use a large surface reduction rate to obtain the required strength indicators, and oil-quenched and tempered steel wire as long as the complete quenching can be obtained than the cold-drawn steel wire higher performance. In the same conditions of tensile strength, martensite reinforced steel wire than cold deformation reinforced steel wire has a higher elastic limit. Cold drawn steel wire metallurgical organization is fibrous, anisotropic obvious, oil quenched and tempered steel wire metallurgical organization for uniform tempered martensite, almost isotropic. At the same time, oil-quenched and tempered steel wire relaxation resistance is better than cold-drawn steel wire, the use of temperature (150 ~ 190 ℃) is higher than cold-drawn steel wire (≤ 120 ℃).
