Production method of spring steel wire
Different types of spring steel wire have different production methods, common characteristics are the need for a certain degree of strength, high toughness and good coil spring performance.
Commonly used various spring steel wire process production methods are as follows:
(steel) coil - surface treatment - drawing (mattress steel wire available this method)
Lead quenched spring steel wire: in the coil size or cold-drawn intermediate specifications for lead bath quenching, followed by surface treatment and drawing.
Galvanized spring steel wire: usually hot plated or plated in the finished size, but also coil pickling hot plating and then cold drawn to the specified size.
Oil quenched spring steel wire: according to the need for carbon steel or alloy steel, surface treatment and cold drawing to the finished size after quenching and tempering, this process is used in automotive suspension springs and valve springs with steel wire on the more, of course, ordinary springs can also be used.
